Placing a Document

Before copying a document, remember to respect the rights of copyright owners. Do not copy published text or images without first checking the copyright status.

Open the document cover.

Place the original on the document table, with the side to be copied facing down. Make sure that the document is properly aligned.

Close the document cover gently so that the document does not move.

Note:

Make sure the document is flat against the glass surface, otherwise the image will be out of focus. Be sure to close the document cover to prevent interference from external light.

Always keep the document table clean.

Do not leave photographs on the document table for an extended period of time as they may stick to the glass.

Do not place heavy objects on top of the Stylus Scan.
