Loading Cut Sheets

Always load cut sheet paper in portrait orientation (short edge first). You can load most photo and fine art sheet papers up to .02 inches (0.5 mm) thick.
Note: Remove any loaded paper, including roll paper, before you load cut sheet paper or poster board.
  1. Close the roll paper cover, if necessary.
  2. Select the paper information area on the LCD screen.
  3. Select Cut Sheet.
  4. Open the cut sheet cover.

  5. Feed the sheet into the right side of the paper feed slot until it meets resistance. Align the right edge of the sheet with the vertical line on the roll paper cover as shown. Make sure the printable side of the sheet is visible.

  6. Select Complete > OK on the LCD screen.
  7. Select a paper type and paper size that matches the loaded paper. If you need to adjust any specific settings, select Advanced Paper Settings.
Note: Store cut sheet media flat in its original packaging. Storing sheet media unprotected or on its long or short edge can lead to excess paper curl and cause damage to the printer and ruined prints.
  8. To remove a cut sheet from the printer, support the paper so it doesn't fall, then select the paper information area on the LCD screen and select Remove.
