Copying / How to Copy

Standard Copying

Follow the steps in Loading Paper.

Follow the steps in Placing Photos and Documents on the Document Table.

Press the number of copies button repeatedly until the desired number of copies (between 1 to 3) is selected on the control panel.

Each time you press the Number of Copies button, the light changes as follows:

3 copies

Note:
  • You can print a maximum of three copies.
  • After printing 10 copies, remove the sheets from the output tray.

Select the paper size as follows:

To copy documents:
Press the Media Select button together with either the Start Color or Start Black and White button to select A4/Letter (plain paper).

To copy photographs:
Press the Media Select button together with either the Start Color or the Start Black and White button to select 4" x 6"/10 x 15 (photo paper).

Note:
When copying on plain paper, only Letter/A4 can be used. Conversely, when copying on photo paper, only 4"x6"/10x15 can be used. For more information about selecting the paper size, see Switching the Paper Size.

Press the  Start Color button to copy in color, or the  Start Black and White button to copy in grayscale.

Caution:
Never open the scanner unit while scanning or copying; you may damage the CX1500.

Note:
  • Don't pull paper out of the output tray before it has been completely ejected.
  • The copied image may not be exactly the same size as the original.
  • If the Ink light flashes to indicate low ink while you are copying, you can either continue making copies until the ink runs out, or stop making copies and replace the ink cartridge.
