You can start EPSON Scan using the methods below.

From TWAIN-compliant applications

If you want to edit scanned images, start EPSON Scan from a TWAIN-compliant application. Scanned images are opened in the application, and you can then edit the scanned images.

Note:
If Adobe® Photoshop® is installed on your computer before you install EPSON Scan, you can access EPSON Scan using Photoshop. In Photoshop, select Import from the File menu then choose EPSON Perfection 2400.

This section describes how to start EPSON Scan from Photoshop Elements.

Note:
You can scan images using any TWAIN-compliant application, such as Adobe Photoshop. If there is a scanner or a TWAIN-compliant device selection menu in the application, select EPSON Perfection 2400, and then select the menu to import from a TWAIN-compliant device. EPSON Scan starts. Depending on the application, selecting a TWAIN-compliant device menu alone may start EPSON Scan.

Start Adobe Photoshop Elements.

For Windows users:
Click Start > All Programs (for Windows XP users) or Programs (for Windows Me, 98, or 2000 users) > Adobe > Photoshop Elements > Photoshop Elements.

For Macintosh users
Double-click the Adobe Photoshop Elements folder in the Macintosh hard drive, and then double-click the Adobe Photoshop Elements icon.

Select Import from the File menu, and then choose EPSON Perfection 2400. EPSON Scan starts.
