Uninstalling Your Online Reference Guide

Follow the appropriate section below to uninstall your Online Reference Guide.
For Windows users

To uninstall applications in Windows 2000 or XP, it is necessary to log in as a user with administrator privileges: that is, a user who belongs to the Administrators group in Windows 2000 or a user with a Computer Administrator account in Windows XP. In Windows XP, you cannot uninstall applications if you log in with a Limited-account user.

In the Control Panel, double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon (Windows XP), or the Add/Remove Programs icon (Windows 98SE, Me, or 2000).

Select Perfection 4990 Reference Guide from the list, then click Change/Remove (Windows 2000 or XP), or Add/Remove (Windows 98SE or Me).

A confirmation dialog box appears. Click OK.

Follow the on-screen instructions.

For Macintosh users
Drag the Perf4990_E folder, located in the Applications > Epson > Guide folder, from the hard disk to the Trash. Then, drag the Perfection 4990 Reference Guide icon from the desktop to the Trash.
