Lights and Buttons

Lights
Buttons

The scanner has two buttons and two lights for scanner operations.

1. Power button
2. Start button
3. indicator light
4. document cover light

Lights

Light	Color	Indicator Status	Meaning
indicator	Green	On	Ready to scan images.
	Green	Flashing	Initializing or busy scanning.
	Red	Flashing	An error has occurred. See Error Indicator for more information.
	(None)	Off	The scanner is off.
document cover light	Blue	On	Scanning transparent documents (such as films).
document cover light	(None)	Off	Scanning reflective documents (such as photographs and documents).

Buttons

Button	Function
Power	Powers on and off the scanner.
Start	Scans and sends the captured image to an assigned application in a single step. Before using this feature, make sure you have installed EPSON Scan. See Scanning Using the Start button for more details.
