Printing with Windows

Accessing the Printer Software

From Windows XP
From Windows 2000
From Windows applications

To access the printer software installed in your computer, follow the steps below.

Note:

The specific features available in the printer software vary depending on the versions of Windows you are using.

From Windows XP

Click Start, click Control Panel, click Printers and Other Hardware, and then click Printers and Faxes.

Right-click your printer icon, and click Printing Preferences. The printer software window appears.

From Windows 2000

Click Start, point to Settings, and then select Printers.

Right-click your printer icon, and click Printing Preferences. The printer software window appears.

From Windows applications

Click Print or Page Setup on the File menu.

Make sure your printer is selected, and click Printer, Setup, Options, Properties, or Preferences. Depending on your application, you may need to click a combination of these buttons. The printer software windows appears.
