Loading the Paper

Load the paper to be used for copying into the Stylus Scan.

The following paper sizes and types can be used:

Paper size:

Metric* A4, B5, A6
US* Letter, Legal, Half Letter, 5x8"

Note:

If you are using Legal-sized paper, use the Automatic Document Feeder.

* Select either Metric or US size in the Menu Mode (Control Panel Setting). For details, refer to Changing the Control Panel Settings.

Paper type:

The following types of paper can be used depending on the Quality setting.

Normal: Plain paper
Fine: Plain paper
Photo: EPSON Photo Paper

Follow the steps below to load paper for copying.

Extend the output tray and slide the left edge guide of the sheet feeder so that it is just wider than the width of your paper.

Fan a stack of paper; then tap it on a flat surface to even the edges.

Load the stack of paper with the printable side up and the right edge of the paper resting against the right side of the sheet feeder. Then slide the left edge guide against the edge of the paper.

Note:

Always load paper into the sheet feeder short edge first.

Make sure the paper stack fits under the arrow mark inside the edge guide.
