Make sure that you are using the CX1500 printer driver.

Select the CX1500 as the default printer.

Turn off the both CX1500 and your computer. Make sure that the USB cable is securely connected to both the CX1500 and your computer.

Incorrect margins
Check the margin settings in your application. Make sure that the margins are within the printable area of the page.

Inverted image
Turn off the "Mirror Image" setting in your application. For instructions, see the online help for your application.

Blank pages print

Make sure that you are using the CX1500 printer driver.

Select the CX1500 as the default printer.

Check the settings on the Main menu. Make sure the settings are correct for the paper size you are using. For details, see online help.
After trying one or more of these solutions, run a printer operation check to check your results.

Printout has smears

If the paper is curled toward the printable side, flatten it or curl it slightly in the opposite direction.

Load and eject dry paper several times. If the problem persists, ink may have gotten into the CX1500. Wipe inside the CX1500 with a soft, clean cloth.

Printing is too slow

Make sure that the paper or Media Type setting in your printer software is correct.

Select Text as the Quality Option setting in your printer software. For details, see online help.

Close any unnecessary applications.
