How To
Scan Images for Viewing on the Computer Screen
Scan images for viewing in the Full Auto Mode
Scan images for viewing in the Home Mode
Scan documents for viewing in the Office Mode
Scan images for viewing in the Professional Mode
When you want to scan images for viewing on the computer screen, set the output resolution to 96 dpi. The maximum resolution monitors can display is 96 dpi, so scanning at a higher resolution is unnecessary. Low resolution image files are smaller and easier to handle. Use a low resolution to scan images for use on the Internet or in e-mail.

Note:
|
|
If the images you're sending through e-mail are intended for printing, you need to use a higher resolution. See Scan Images for Printing.
