Connecting Using Miracast

If your mobile device such as a smartphone supports Miracast, you can connect it to the projector wirelessly and project images. You can play audio through the projector's speaker system by connecting using Miracast.

  1. Select Miracast settings on your projector as necessary.

  2. Press the Wireless button on the remote control to switch to the Miracast source.

    You see the Miracast standby screen.
  3. On your mobile device, use your Miracast function to search for the projector.

    You see a list of available devices.
  4. Select the projector's Display Name from the list.

    If you see the screen asking if you allow the projection using Miracast on the projector, check the device name displayed and select if you allow the projection or not.

    The projector displays the image from your mobile device.

    • It may take some time until the connection is established. While connecting, do not disconnect the projector's power cord. Doing so may cause your device to freeze or malfunction.

      Depending on the mobile device, you may need to delete a device when connecting. Follow the on-screen instructions on your device.

    • To add a device to the block list, select Add to Block List on the Miracast projection confirmation screen and then select No. This registers the device name to the block list.

    • When a device registered to the block list attempts to connect using Miracast, the standby screen remains displayed, and the images are not projected. You can remove the block list using any of the following methods.

      • Select Delete Block List on the home screen.

      • Turn off the projector.

      • Update the network settings.

      • Press the Enter button on the standby screen, and then select Yes on the screen displayed.
